Legal ramifications

Drones are becoming more popular than ever. Drones, also known as unmanned air vehicles, are small unmanned aircraft which respond to remote commands and follow a pre-programmed path. While originally intended for military use, drones are now available to hobbyists who can fly their own drones and explore new locations. But flying a drone without first obtaining permission from the proper authorities can land you in hot water in New Jersey.

Sightings

The Newark Liberty International Airport was temporarily shut down on Tuesday due to sightings by drones. According to reports, drones were spotted flying in a three-to-five-kilometer altitude over Teterboro Airport, 20 miles north of Newark. While no sightings were reported, the airport continues its cooperation with federal law enforcement. After a short delay, all flights have resumed normally and an investigation by the federal government is under way.

Locations

How To

Repairing a damaged motor on a drone

To repair a motor damaged, the first step is to identify which part is broken. This is easiest to do by removing the propeller from its shaft. Then remove any wires and take a look at the motor's inner workings. If you notice something amiss, you'll know what part of your motor to fix.

If the motor is in good condition, you shouldn't worry. But if it looks like one of the images below, you will need to replace parts before you can fly again.

Suppose a motor has been bent up so it won't turn anymore. The motor must be bent again. To hold the motor in place, you can use a pair or vice grips. After this is done, you should inspect the motor carefully for any signs or wear.

Once everything is in order, attach the propeller to the motor shaft. Your drone is now ready to fly!
